Q. Hassan has over 15 years of experience in the accounting field, spanning both public practice and private firms. He has worked extensively with small to medium-sized businesses, delivering tailored support in bookkeeping, payroll, BAS/IAS lodgements, tax returns, budgeting, forecasting, financial statement preparation, and business advisory.

Throughout his career, Quamrul has developed a deep understanding of the tax and compliance needs of SMEs. He is passionate about helping businesses stay financially organised and compliant—so they can focus on what they do best: growing their business.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting), an Advanced Diploma in Accounting, and has completed an Income Tax Preparation Course. Quamrul is highly proficient in cloud-based accounting platforms including Xero, QuickBooks, Cloud Payroll, MYOB, SAGE, Lodge it, and Reckon, and effectively manages client relationships and workflows using tools such as Salesforce and Trello. He also has extensive, hands-on experience liaising directly with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) on behalf of clients.

In addition to compliance and transactional services, Quamrul has hands-on experience in strategic business advisory, supporting departmental managers with budget planning, cash flow forecasting, performance analysis, and financial decision-making to help drive overall business success.

Outside of work, Quamrul is an active contributor to his local community, supporting youth-focused initiatives as a local kids’ soccer coach and community badminton player. He is also a former professional chess player. Quamrul is dedicated to making a positive impact—both professionally and personally.
